Gin & Tonic
GIN is derived from the Dutch "Genever". Originally, genever was medicine. England's first encounter with gin occurred on the Dutch battlefields - as a medicine. When William III of Orange became King of England, he brought genever to his subjects. "Genever" was difficult for the English to pronounce and it became "gin." Gin is a grain distillate with juniper extracts and many other botanicals.

Classic juniper on the nose, along with subtle nuances of cardamom, solid fruity notes of lemon and orange on the palate. The finish is slightly tart and dry.

Bombay Sapphirs 40% 4 cl € 6,00
Light citrus notes in the aroma. Very fresh juniper. Tart and dry on the palate, slightly earthy and floral. Long finish with coriander and licorice.

Hendrick's 41.4% 4 cl € 9.50
The aroma is flora with wild berries. The taste is very complex with coriander, bergamot, rose and the abrasion of lemon and orange. Long lasting, fresh finish with a hint of cucumber.

Scents of juniper and 15 herbs and spices. Fresh, precise bouquet, rich, slightly creamy texture. A gin from Saalfelden, distillery Siegfried Herzog.

The classic juniper combines here with blackberry, blueberry, cranberry and a touch of lime. A gin with heart! The proceeds are donated to a good cause, in this case to people in Pinzgau who need help after strokes of fate.
